Qianzhao is an assassin bent on revenge. She never imagined an assassin would have to solve cases, let alone that solving them would require her to role-play according to a "script."
Becoming a detective or playing a suspect, making it through rules-based horror games and time loops: in fractured timelines, the cases are baffling, waiting for players to solve them.
An underground city with no way out stands in the way of Qianzhao's revenge. Forced to enter the strange "Dream of Yaoyuan," she must play the people involved in one unsolved case after another and uncover the truth.

Qianzhao cannot be trapped here. She still has a great revenge to take, and someone she must kill.
After years of trauma, the only way to find salvation is not to love someone else, but to love yourself.

When she takes up her blade against this unjust fate, the conspiracy hidden in the abyss gradually comes to light. In this age of turmoil, different choices weave a cage so dense that those caught inside believe they are merely watching from the opposite shore.
Even as she is swept up in the struggles between the feudal lords, Qianzhao presses on with her long journey home, determined to kill her enemy with her own hands.

Qianzhao is an assassin seeking revenge. An assassin should walk alone, but Liu Yu is the exception.
They met beneath the stars, parted on the day of the first snow, and met again when the osmanthus flowers filled the air with their fragrance.
For Liu Yu, it was a brief encounter, yet one that lasted a lifetime in his heart.
