Natsume and His Divine Lord

Hello, everyone. My name is Hajima O, and I am the owner of a shrine. Not long ago, I inherited the divine power of a shrine that had stood empty for over fifty years. Since then, I have lived a life of listening to my believers' prayers and protecting the forest and mountains.

But, seriously, it's the twenty-first century. Do gods really exist?

Even though I can see demons, I still find it hard to believe that I've become a god.

But things get even worse: I accidentally entered into a contract with a demon as my divine familiar. The spirit who lives in my house says he's human, but how could a half-baked god like me know how to break the contract? I went to ask the matchmaker god in the neighboring city, but he said he didn't know either.

...What am I supposed to do?

At first, Natsume Takashi really wanted to break the contract. But later, he wasn't so sure he did.

So, dear God, will you answer my prayer?

Reader's notes:

- Yes, it's the very cheesy falling-and-kissing trope (hee hee).

- The main story is in third person. Natsume is the love interest, with his manga appearance: white hair and green eyes.

- The god and divine familiar settings are based on Kamisama Kiss, with some changes.

- A crossover with various anime and manga. I'll include whatever comes to mind; most characters are just background figures.

- Any OOC is the author's responsibility. Please don't flame me. Peace and love, thank you.
