A Sect of Immortals from the Start

He closed his eyes, opened them again, and a thousand years had passed. Ming Deng woke up in a daze and discovered that everyone in the sect was gone, and he had become its leader.

Looking at the desolate, ruined surroundings, so barren that even demons wouldn’t come, with the west wind blowing fallen leaves around, Ming Deng hugged himself.

The worst start imaginable. He could only rely on himself... And if he couldn’t rely on himself, he’d rely on his disciples!

Wen Ziye, the all-capable senior disciple, was as steady as a mountain, with everything under control.

But in truth, this dazzling and noble senior disciple was a Demon Lord reborn, lying low in a righteous sect just to avenge himself! In this life, he would take back everything that belonged to him!

Faced with a gaggle of junior brothers and sisters, all competing to be the strangest and most flamboyant, Wen Ziye was left speechless.

Could you please stop getting in the way of me cuddling up to my master?

1. Naturally eccentric, radiant young gong x hypocritical, affected, emotionally heavy shou; master x disciple.

2. The gong is an old relic, and the shou is an old relic who was reborn.

3. The shou is rather twisted and emotionally heavy; the shou pursues the gong, and the shou dotes on the gong.

4. The shou gets more viewpoint chapters, and there are ensemble scenes, but the gong is the central protagonist, so I’m tentatively labeling this as gong-focused.

5. There are all kinds of relationships among the characters. The main characters won’t have side couples, but there will be people who like the gong, plus jealousy, heartache, and rejected rivals in a messy love polygon (sorry, I just love this stuff).

6. The gong will return the shou’s feelings, but very late in the story. Most of the time, he cares for his disciple out of their bond as master and disciple.

7. A slow burn, and very wordy, full of pointless details and unfunny jokes I tell just to amuse myself.

◆ I’ll try to update every other day, but there’s no guarantee of a regular schedule.

◆ Very wordy and slice-of-life, with an extremely slow relationship progression. Read with caution.
