Heir to an Independent Racing Team

Everyone said Matthew Reo was ridiculously lucky. He'd invested in his genius classmate once during college, and now he was a major shareholder in the industry's most profitable gaming company. He could spend the rest of his life lounging around and counting his money.

Matthew thought so too. He saw nothing wrong with a life spent lounging around and counting money.

Then, when he was twenty-eight, his grandfather suddenly passed away. The lawyer brought out the will and distributed Mr. Reo's assets in full. His cousin inherited two estates in southern France, his older female cousin got an apartment in Manhattan, and his younger cousins each received real estate. Matthew alone inherited the racing team his grandfather had founded in his youth.

The team was poorly managed and had a dismal track record. It couldn't attract sponsors or find good drivers, and was kept afloat entirely by his grandfather's passion for it.

Everyone expected him to sell the team off right away and get rid of the liability. Instead, he shocked them all by taking its management seriously.

Matthew: Honestly, I didn't want to do this either, but a System showed up and told me I'd be dead before thirty if I didn't get my act together! What choice do I have? I have to Make Reo Great Again!

A racing story with a System, though it won't play a major role.

The racing teams are all made up and have nothing to do with real-life F1 teams.
