Spring Colors in the Bitter Winter

Five years ago, Sang Qingyue stood in the Yu family's entryway with a suitcase in hand. He looked up and met Yu Lin's gaze, still damp with water. "Didn't hear the doorbell. Don't mind me." Yu Lin smiled, his tone casual, as if it were just a passing greeting. Sang Qingyue said nothing. He only wanted to find a quiet place in this unfamiliar city and get through high school in peace. But he didn't understand that some upheavals had been set in motion from the moment they first met. Nor could he have known that, on all those moonlit nights to come, while he slept peacefully on a recliner, Yu Lin would stand within arm's reach, look down at him, and trace the same absurd thought in his mind again and again. I want to kiss him. Once the thought appeared, he could never suppress it again. Later, Sang Qingyue left behind a note and disappeared, believing that Yu Lin's coma had been his final farewell. He thought there would never be a reunion. - Five years later, Sang Qingyue returned, clad in snowy white. He had become the youngest Omega researcher at Mijialan, with a suppressor collar fastened around his neck and an old wound locked away in his heart. He thought the past had been buried beneath frost and snow. But at a corner of the ABO Research Institute, he met those unfathomable eyes again. The man called out, "...Sang Qingyue." And the memories came flooding back. - Carefree, restrained, devoted top × cool, steadfast beauty bottom 1. The top isn't really a Beta, and the bottom isn't a defective Omega. 2.
