The thing Zhu Qi'an regrets most in his life is picking up a drenched boy on a rainy night and naming him Zhu Zhixia.
He watched the adorable little boy grow into a model young man: excellent grades, filial and hardworking, even bringing him a glass of warm milk before bed. Zhu Qi'an was relieved, thinking, At least this kid turned out right.
Until the year Zhu Zhixia turned eighteen, when Zhu Qi'an decided to let him become independent.
The first time Zhu Qi'an told him to move out, Zhu Zhixia "accidentally" fell down the stairs. His eyes reddened as he tugged at Zhu Qi'an's sleeve. "Uncle, my leg really hurts..."
The second time, during a gathering with colleagues, Zhu Qi'an got a tearful phone call. "Uncle, I burned my hand cooking. It hurts so much..."
The third time, while Zhu Qi'an was on a blind date, a weak voice came over the phone. "Uncle, I'm bleeding so much..."
Every time, Zhu Qi'an rushed home in a panic.
Until one day, he brought his date home as a guest. When he went to the bedroom to get something, he caught Zhu Zhixia pressing his lips to his clothes one by one, leaving kisses behind.
The boy looked up, his gaze gloomy and infatuated. "Uncle, you smell... so good."
At last, Zhu Qi'an realized that the boy he'd raised wasn't some harmless little bunny at all.
And when his blind date came by to confess late that night, it was a half-naked Zhu Zhixia who opened the door. The boy leaned against the door with a teasing smile, possessiveness filling his eyes.
"Sorry, my Qi'an is tired. He just went to bed."
"Whatever it is, come back tomorrow. Though he'll never have time for you."
