[Complete] A farming story with a golden finger, featuring cultivation, gourmet food, and infrastructure development.
Mu Sheng, an ordinary Plant Spirit Master in a border city, never expected to have the bloodline of the Flame Farmer.
Then she was forcibly bound to a magical tree spirit.
Other people's contracted wood spirits are fresh, natural, and adorable. So why is her tree spirit so different?
To sum up, here's what her contracted tree spirit likes:
Fighting.
It's really good at fighting.
And only then, farming.
Mu Sheng: "…"
With a combat-type wood spirit, Mu Sheng became the strongest Plant Spirit Master in the apocalypse.
Official blurb:
A thousand years after the apocalyptic disaster, every species on Earth has adapted to the new order of the world of supernatural powers.
Mutated plants and animals are everywhere. The strong prey on the weak among ability users, and civilization has collapsed.
As survival resources dwindle and food grows scarce, factions start fighting over what remains, and war rages.
The Central Continent is full of starving people and suffering.
In a place most people never see, a remote border town quietly rises.
Residents from distant lands rush there after hearing the news, astonished to discover endless fertile farmland and a massive granary built across the mountains!
The people here don't suffer from famine. Their lives are as good as those of humanity in the flourishing era before the apocalypse.
…
Mu Sheng was an ordinary Plant Spirit Master on the border of Spring City. After accidentally forming a bloodline contract with a little tree spirit, her Shennong bloodline awakened, and she embarked on an extraordinary farming journey.
In the apocalypse's ability-user system, a Plant Spirit Master's talent is an affinity with wood spirits.
High-level Plant Spirit Masters cultivate intelligent wood spirits to help with planting, growing spirit plants and vegetables that help ability users advance.
Other Plant Spirit Masters toil away growing spirit vegetables. Mu Sheng grows "vegetable spirits" directly.
One little vegetable spirit can help her grow a hundred mu of spirit vegetables.
Wielding her hoe, Mu Sheng furiously cleared land along the border. Just as things were in full swing, the leader of the demon plants invaded her territory with a huge army of mutated plants.
Mu Sheng was calm. "Don't panic. We can beat them."
"Ding!" Her contracted little tree spirit unleashed its ultimate transformation. The true leaves atop its head turned into a giant spinning pinwheel. It charged into the army, pulverized the mutated plant forces, and drove the demon plant leader back home.
When she heard that people from Fengdu had come to kill her and steal her treasures, Mu Sheng looked at the high-yield crops in her fields and went straight for a bold, open strategy: she robbed the Lord of Fengdu's home.
Without losing a single soldier, Mu Sheng drove off every outside force.
From then on, the title of "the strongest Plant Spirit Master" in the border city spread far and wide. Her reputation soared, and people from every faction flocked to join her.
The remote little border town rose rapidly, becoming the brightest jewel on the Flame Summer Continent.
Coming soon: Fifteen Years After the Calamity, the Whole Family Goes Exploring. Wilderness adventure, gathering, and stockpiling. If you're interested, add it to your favorites in the author's collection.
In the fifteenth year of the great calamity, nearly 40% of the population in the safe zones had evolved physically. As a result, the world beyond the high walls, once sealed off, began opening to ordinary people.
This was a game meant only for the brave, and an opportunity for ordinary people to seize and ride the wave of the times.
The brave dared to leave their extremely safe comfort zones, heading into the wilderness to gather supplies and earn base contribution points by killing otherworldly creatures. They could exchange those points for precious resources such as land, food, and fuel.
Bian Yao seized her chance to get rich and took her whole family on wilderness expeditions.
[Ding, You successfully killed a low-level otherworldly creature. You earned 10 base contribution points.
[Beep... Mutated purslane spotted ahead. Gather it to earn 100 points.
[Beep, Danger ahead! Stay alert and prepare to respond!
Bian Yao looked at the information panel that popped up in her mind. Going on wilderness adventures with a golden finger was so awesome!
She counted the supplies and crystal cores she'd collected, then excitedly hurried back to the human safe zone and used her points to buy a hundred mu of land.
Soon, the land had been cleared for farming, and a two-story villa stood at the edge of the fields.
Through hard work, the family of three finally achieved a comfortable life in the apocalypse.
*I want to try writing a wilderness adventure story, with a main plot of fighting monsters, leveling up, gathering, and stockpiling. The farming will come later.
*A feel-good story with a powerful golden finger.
My old novel, Growing Spirit Plants in the Wasteland, is complete. Feel free to check it out in my collection.
Theme: An ideal nature and fairy tale
After reading it, I felt a little disappointed after reading it. Maybe it's the idea of small-scale peasant economy deep in the Chinese countryside. Compared with becoming a god, the responsibility and dedication of the great road and the ruthless road, the happy ending for me is that everyone grows old and dies together.
The ending is average. I don't really like leaving my partner alone. I thought it would be symbiosis or no cp.
It's just such an emotional scene, it can be written directly without cp feeling [covering face and laughing and crying] [covering face and laughing and crying] [covering face and laughing and crying]
It's a bit like Nuwa Mending the Sky. I read it in one night. It's an excellent farming novel, not bad.
I'll definitely come back to finish it, right? O(`ω? )O
Woo woo woo, I only updated one chapter in a month, woo woo woo
Finally updated, Wuhu
It's really good. It's a bit like Cambrian Returns, which I like. When I saw the last three chapters, I was worried that it would be unfinished, but I didn't expect it to be so good [laughs]
The apocalyptic article finally became a myth, which is difficult to evaluate
I always feel that the female protagonist has become a god by herself, leaving the male protagonist very lonely. I hope the extra episode will give these two a good ending.
