This is really a story about a heroine who takes the serious route when it comes to important matters but goes completely off the rails at other times, while the hero insists on taking the serious route (x).

1. The female lead is a native of the world, with unconventional elements that still fit the HP setting. Tom mostly follows the original story, but the overall tone won't be as dark as the original.
2. The main focus is on their careers, with a slow-burn romance. Their dynamic is more friendship than romance, and the story is mostly clean. There are some original worldbuilding details and timeline changes.
3. Canon couples remain intact. There are many original characters, and some characters and plot points from the Fantastic Beasts films will appear. I like planting foreshadowing, and anything that differs from canon will be explained later.
4. All portrayals are based on my personal interpretation. I'll do my best to avoid out-of-character writing and won't bash any house or its members.
