The Confucian Sage

Confucian fantasy, romance-focused, plot-driven, female protagonist, satisfying read.

After transmigrating and being jilted, Xie Chuyan thinks she's been handed the classic script of a poor young man proving his worth.

Then she gets jilted and receives an imperial decree: the men in her family are exiled, and the women are sent to the imperial entertainment bureau. It looks like her story of rising from poverty is about to end with her in the grave.

Overcome with grief, she casually recites, "The swallows that once nested in the halls of the Wang and Xie families now fly into the homes of common folk."

Suddenly, a strange phenomenon appears in the sky. Her mind clears, and a book of heavenly wisdom inexplicably appears in her head.

It turns out she has a fantasy-world script.

Here, poetry can kill, prose can repel enemies, and a stroke of the brush can determine the fate of the world.

Scholars enjoy unprecedented status. Men and women alike can sit the literary examinations and earn official rank and literary honors.

There are no Tang, Song, Ming, or Qing dynasties here, and many famous poems from Blue Star have yet to be written.

Doesn't this make her the chosen literary plagiarist?
