A chuuni gong who woos himself x a gentle, teasing older shou
A certain team's social media account suddenly changed its style. Its beautiful, handsome aesthetic, which had been ahead of the other teams, abruptly turned into a goofy, chuuni style.
Fans flooded the comments in tears, watching their favorite players turn one by one into ridiculous figures afflicted with chuunibyou.
The person featured in one of the videos had this to say:
Ye Shiyu: This is called showing your true colors.
Sheng Nian: This is the glorious era I dreamed of!
Other teammates: I'll just laugh. You can figure out the rest for yourselves.
By Sheng Nian's second year in professional competition after coming up through the academy, his reputation for playing a huge range of heroes was almost as well known as Ye Shiyu's.
Most importantly, Ye Shiyu, who was semi-retired, was still his mentor, and Sheng Nian looked like he was about to surpass his master.
On the day of the finals, the YC team's social media account once again took on a retro look, bringing back its chuuni style.
Wearing a hoodie, Sheng Nian raised one hand high. In the empty frame, he suddenly shouted, "Transform!"
A trophy appeared out of thin air, one that belonged to him.

"Are you going on a blind date?"
"Are you going to abandon me?"
"Don't you like me anymore?"
He fired all three questions straight at Ye Shiyu, who froze mid-undressing.
Ye Shiyu: "..."
His inner thoughts: The thought process of a chuuni kid really is impossible to understand.
"I don't care. You can keep it to yourself if you don't like me. I'll like you enough for both of us."
The chuuni himself turned and left, shutting the door behind him and tossing out that utterly baffling declaration.
