Zhu Qing is handsome, highly gifted in the supernatural arts, and has just one flaw: he's afraid of ghosts! Terrified of them!

Naturally, the ghosts and monsters love to scare him on purpose, cling to him, and tell him they like him with blood-smeared mouths.

This goes on for a long time, until he meets that "strange" man.

The man is handsome and refined. He claims to be Zhu Qing's destined soulmate, bound to him by fate, and says they were betrothed as children.

Who would have thought that behind Mr. Hong's mysterious white mask was a face identical to You Zhi's?

As Mr. Hong grips Zhu Qing's chin and kisses him, it slowly dawns on Zhu Qing that he once heard a rumor about his own possessive, eccentric, unhinged husband: half his soul had broken away from his body without permission.
