What Should I Do If My Childhood Friend Wants to Be a Backup?

[Warning: melodrama ahead]

Blurb One:

Jian Yu: Urgent question! After my childhood friend turned me down, I got a boyfriend.

But now my childhood friend regrets it. He says he wants to be my backup boyfriend. What do I do?

Blurb Two:

Jian Yu always knew that her childhood friend liked her, but he never got around to confessing.

On the eve of graduation, Jian Yu suddenly realized how she felt about Tan Shuyao and decided to make the first move, only to be brutally rejected... (This is just ridiculous.)

It's fine. He's just a man, right?

So what if he rejected her? She would focus on her career, become a female CEO, and amaze everyone.

After all, a career is much more important than love.
