Synopsis:

Chang Yuyue got transported into the book after insulting the villain of a novel called Cangyun Mountain.

Her mission was to win over Shen Wujin, the obsessive, mad, handsome, tragic villain who constantly opposed the original novel's male lead. If she failed, she would be erased.

To get close to Shen Wujin, she cleansed and strengthened her meridians and trained hard with a sword. After a year of effort, she finally became the villain's junior sister.

To vent all the suffering she'd endured over the past year, she took advantage of the moment Shen Wujin was gravely injured and unable to fight back, and hurled insults at him.

When they met again, Shen Wujin held his sword to her throat.

Chang Yuyue immediately caved, tears springing to her eyes. “Eldest Senior Brother, actually, I've always really liked you. I did all this just so I could stand by your side!”

Shen Wujin glanced at her and gave a cold laugh. “You say you like me? Prove it, or I'll kill you and feed you to the demons!”

Chang Yuyue glanced at the little blade pressed against her cheek and nodded as fast as she could.

Later, when Shen Wujin schemed to secretly harm the original male lead, Chang Yuyue had an excuse to stay by his side and look for a chance to sabotage him.

“Eldest Senior Brother, when you like someone, you want to see them all the time. I like you so much, of course I want to follow you everywhere!”

Shen Wujin: “...”

The original male lead was trapped in a perilous sword formation. Shen Wujin planned to alter the formation and take the opportunity to torment him mentally.

Chang Yuyue desperately held him back. Facing his cold expression, she said, “Eldest Senior Brother, it's too dangerous inside the formation. When you like someone, you can't bear to let them face danger alone! So don't go!”

When Shen Wujin conspired with a disposable female emperor to scheme against the male lead, Chang Yuyue stepped right between them.

“Eldest Senior Brother, when you like someone, you don't want to see them get too close to anyone else! Seeing you like this makes me jealous!”

Shen Wujin looked at the earnest girl in front of him and fell silent.

Only when he realized his plans kept falling through did Shen Wujin notice that Chang Yuyue was getting closer and closer to him.

So close that she appeared in his life at every turn, so close that he started believing her lies.

Amid a sea of flames, Chang Yuyue saw the sign leading home beneath the cliff and jumped without a second thought.

But she landed in a firm, warm embrace. When she looked up, she met Shen Wujin's obsessive, shadowed gaze.

“Eldest Senior Brother, when you like someone, you have to learn to let go.”

Shen Wujin's gaze was unwavering. He refused to let go. “But you taught me that when you like someone, you should pursue them relentlessly.”

“So you can only stay by my side, unless I die!”
