Gentlemen, Become Magical Girls

[Blurb]

He transmigrates from the start into a high-risk world featuring Detective Conan-style mysteries, supernatural abilities, and sorcery.

As a disabled person who can only get around in a wheelchair, Ijiang Shujiu (ie saku) has struggled to survive alone here for four years. At last, the System comes to find him.

The System says that if he can find companions who can become magical girls and save the world, it will grant him one wish for free.

But looking at the men, each taller than the last, he struggles to ask, "Are you sure these people meet the requirements for becoming magical girls?"

System: [... That's right.]

Ijiang Shujiu: Whatever. If the marketing is good enough, then maybe, just maybe, boys can be magical girls too (?)

So he creates two secret identities.

One is a cute, harmless, and sincere contract beast called QB, with the ability to grant people's wishes through contracts.

Marketing the magical-girl profession and getting along with everyone should be a piece of cake.

The other is a magical-girl senior, responsible for fighting alongside the companions he finds.

Unfortunately, although this identity is incredibly powerful, it comes with a debuff that makes his personality terrible. His relationships with the others are predictably awful, but all he needs to do is fight.

That's what he firmly believes...

Until much later, when they shield him, in his senior's identity, and turn their swords on QB. "He'll never be under your control again!"

Ijiang Shujiu: ?!!

What on earth have you all misunderstood?

Many people have a wish they would do anything to fulfill. Only a lucky few hear this voice in a moment of despair:

"Would you like to make a contract? I can grant any wish."

So asks the little contract beast who calls itself QB.

Thinking of their sister, unconscious from a curse; their childhood friend, who died in the line of duty four years ago; and the friend buried beneath a gravestone...

In the end, they agree.

But even though their wishes come true, why are they forced to change sex?!

They do everything they can to conceal their identities, never admitting anything even when suspected.

They absolutely must not let anyone find out that the inheritor of the Ten Shadows Technique, a member of a Yokohama detective agency, and a bomb disposal officer...

are all secretly magical girls!

But that so-called senior keeps showing up without the slightest attempt at concealment, summoning them to fight witches, criticizing them for being unfit to be magical girls, and causing one identity crisis after another.

He's also often cold and sharp-tongued, and incredibly hard to get along with.

Yet, as time goes by, they gradually understand the truth about magic. Looking back through their pain and confusion, they come to know the person's true nature, and also foresee that person's eventual death.

Neither miracles nor magic come free. Contracts that can grant any wish often demand a price beyond imagination.

And that person will bear most of the cost alone, silently keeping watch in the darkness. No one knows what he has given up, and in the end, he can only face eternal sleep in a loneliness that no one will remember...

How could they let that happen?
