[Reborn!] Laurel Fragments

In a corner of a parallel world, there is a girl toyed with by fate.

She has beautiful silver hair like satin and captivating emerald eyes, but beneath her angelic face lies a frail body. Beautiful and unreachable as a vision in a dream, the girl has spent her childhood bedridden and recuperating. Little by little, she develops forbidden feelings for the family doctor, who is twenty years her senior...

* CP: 1v1, age gap of 20+, first-person POV, and a slightly unhinged heroine.

* I want to write something intense, but I'm not sure my writing can pull it off. The ending is more or less an amicable parting (?)

* Inspired by reading Osamu Dazai's Autumn Wind Record on 2024.3.18. I was overflowing with inspiration and couldn't sleep, so I started this story as a keepsake. The laurel only alludes to the story of Apollo and Daphne.

* Everyone probably knows the deal with real-life Osamu Dazai and the fictional Shamal, so I won't go into specific content warnings...

* There will be descriptions and discussion of open relationships (I recently watched Anatomy of a Fall).

Theme: Only those who find their own way to survive can make it in this world
