Fake Brother

When Su Yao was sixteen, her life took a major turn.

She had grown up in a small town when a man surnamed He found her and told her she was the daughter of his younger sister. Her parents had died when their car went off a mountain road, and the old woman who raised her had secretly taken her in as a baby.

The old woman had passed away, and Su Yao was facing the prospect of dropping out of high school. The He family’s arrival seemed like a lifeline.

That day, she walked into the He family villa with a small backpack on her shoulders.

The first person she saw was a boy in a neat school uniform.

When he looked at her, his expression was openly cold and displeased.

Su Yao could clearly sense his dislike. She had planned to stay out of his way from then on, but...

She ran into “him” again around the corner.

Though he had the exact same face, the boy in front of her smiled with delight. “Oh, you’re the new little sister? Hi, I’m He Yanxuan, your brother.”

Su Yao: Am I seeing a ghost?

Later, Su Yao learned that the He family had twin sons, and the brothers had completely different personalities.

The older brother, He Yanzhao, was quiet and reserved, while the younger brother, He Yanxuan, could hardly sit still for a minute.

Over the next few years, Su Yao helped her second brother write and deliver love letters, hide exam papers, copy texts as punishment, and sneak out of class while she kept watch.

Her older brother, however, hated her.

Just as Su Yao was beginning to feel grateful that the He family had found her, devastating news arrived.

She wasn’t their sister.

It had all been a misunderstanding. The daughter of Mr. He’s younger sister was someone else, and she...

was really just an ordinary orphan.
