The Angelic Senpai Inumaki

The story was abandoned, don't read.

Shiratori Nagi has been in a really bad place lately.

There's a regular customer who often buys things at Onigiri Miyako.

He's pretty strange. He always covers the lower half of his face and seems to speak only in bizarre rice-ball talk.

Maybe it's because they share a love of rice balls, but the owner can communicate with him just fine. Shiratori Nagi, on the other hand, can't understand a word.

Then again, she doesn't always understand what normal people mean when they talk, either.

But Shiratori Nagi is a sucker for his looks, so she's happy enough to see this regular customer around.

Lately, though, she and Rice Ball Guy seem to have become "fated" to keep running into each other.

The bus driver's terrible driving made her roll right to Rice Ball Guy's feet, and she ended up kneeling in front of him twice. The next day, a bout of hypoglycemia led her to fail at robbing a little girl, and when she woke up, she found herself in Rice Ball Guy's arms. That afternoon, someone caught her "bullying" a drunk passerby...

Shiratori Nagi: ...

After being targeted by a blue-haired curse spirit, Shiratori Nagi had to give up on going to university and enroll in a jujutsu school. She quit her job at Onigiri Miyako, thinking she would never have to see Rice Ball Guy again.

But before long, she found herself face-to-face with him on campus.

Shiratori Nagi: ...

She was completely distraught, but the other guy looked even more shocked.

Thankfully, Rice Ball Guy is a good person. He never brings up anything embarrassing, and he's very considerate.

So when she eventually realizes that Rice Ball Guy might like her, Shiratori Nagi looks troubled.

She does think Rice Ball Guy is cute and handsome, and she can't believe anyone could like someone as unpleasant as her.

But there's no future for someone who can't understand what people say and Rice Ball Guy, who can't speak like a normal person!

A low-EQ, socially clueless heroine and the black-hearted-then-white-hearted Inumaki, who can only talk about rice-ball fillings.

Warning: Due to her character setup, the heroine can sometimes be rude, but she means no harm and takes advice well.

Theme: Be a free bird.
