Lu Mi mumbled sleepily, "Nanami is so smart."

After all, the white-haired guy had said he could use him as an excuse whenever he liked.

At night, Lu Mi crushed a cursed spirit with one hand. Several bloody gashes crossed his face, and his expression was icy.

A few ordinary people sat not far away, their faces blank. They were clearly terrified.

At that moment, Lu Mi looked like a demon. It was hard to tell whether they were more afraid of the cursed spirit or of him.

A monster. He's a monster!

The boy stared expressionlessly at them, as if considering what to do with them. The few people grew even more frightened and slumped to the ground, shaking uncontrollably.

Lu Mi had no idea what they were thinking. After casually wiping the grime from his face, he clicked his tongue and lowered his eyes.

Winter break was coming soon, and Nanami had said he was going home.

He wouldn't see Nanami for a long time. He was unhappy. How could he get Nanami to take him along?

The cub has boundless energy and loves to run wild, so every sharp corner in the residential area has been covered with padding. The cub loves flowers, so they studied the soil and planted beautiful flowers all around the residential area. The cub loves stuffed animals, so every home keeps a collection of cute plushies...

When Black Sin's Land was first established, many surveillance devices were installed.

An official involved in selecting the convicts for exile had since risen through the ranks and remembered this. He waddled onto the stage and invited all the citizens of the Human Empire to watch the exiles' confessions of regret.

The surveillance feeds came on.

Every convict looked rosy-cheeked and full of energy.

The Human Empire's citizens, exhausted from working until they were dazed: ?

They looked at the flowers, neatly tended around the residential area and swaying in the breeze.

The citizens, who had to breathe foul air every day because of technological development and the resulting poor environment: ?

Just then, a fluffy figure came into view. It was a wolf cub, exceptionally well cared for, with fur as soft and smooth as feathers. It was playing games with everyone, and every so often it leaped into someone's arms.

People and cub alike looked overjoyed.

The people who were supposedly serving time while striving for the future of the Human Empire were green with envy. They erupted in collective protest.

Who's the exile here? Who's serving a sentence? Apologize to me right now!

That wolf cub looks so unhappy. Tell me what he likes to eat and play with, then send him to me so I can raise him!
