Female Secret Identities | Becoming the Strongest | Upcoming: A Shonen Manga Heroine’s Guide to Saving Herself Jiang Yun is a beautiful, insignificant passerby in four shonen manga. One day, after awakening, she takes on an impossibly difficult mission that countless other mission-takers have failed to complete, all in order to stay alive. System: “You must win over these male leads who are showing signs of awakening, or the entire manga world will collapse.” Jiang Yun (halfheartedly): “Mm-hmm.” Jiang Yun spots a loophole in the System’s definition of success: make the male leads experience emotional upheavals more intense than anything they’ve ever felt. Jiang Yun: Win them over (x) Make them hate me so much their teeth ache (√) At the same time, Jiang Yun discovers that all four of her passerby secret identities are useless in their own ways. But if she mixes them up and uses them in different worlds she gains four god-tier secret identities, each powerful enough to crush everyone in its respective manga. Jiang Yun: Nice. [Villain Boss + Male Lead’s Archnemesis] script: activated! - Manga One: Soft Sci-Fi · Mystery and Revenge (√) He is the strongest sniper, a carefree playboy on the surface and deeply calculating underneath. Jiang Yun lands a hit on his vital point in a sniper duel. As blood sprays, she meets his furious, wide-eyed stare and says coolly: “You’re only the strongest because I disappeared.” Manga Two: Spiritual Qi Revival · Sports Competition (√) He is a chess king with two souls in one body, seamlessly switching between a cool, elegant young master and a gloomy ghost. Jiang Yun crushes him on the chessboard, leaving him with no pieces. She looks at the two pairs of eyes, each belonging to a different soul, but both filled with the same despair. “I taught you how to play chess because I wanted to raise you up to defeat me. What a shame. I’m disappointed.” Manga Three: Cards · Supernatural Horror (√) He is the strongest player to clear the challenges, hailed by all humanity as the savior who can bring the supernatural world to an end. Jiang Yun reaches out and grips his throat, admiring the exquisitely pale beauty of the slender, fragile boy beneath her hand. “Become nourishment for this supernatural being.” Manga Four: Sequences · Superpower Academy (√) He is a cold-blooded mastermind, gentle and mysterious, with the entire world under his control. Jiang Yun effortlessly foils his schemes. She pierces his heart with her power, then leans close to his ear and whispers softly: “I’m tired of playing house with you.” In short, she torments the manga’s male leads until they’re barely alive. At the same time, she “accidentally” becomes the undisputed hottest woman in all four manga. Jiang Yun: Making a male lead hate me with a passion is as easy as breathing! :) The thing is, the way the male leads look at her is getting stranger and stranger. Their eyes aren’t filled with the hatred she imagined, but with something far more twisted… - Manga Forum. At first, when Jiang Yun’s character appeared, many people thought nothing of her. [So pretty, drools. Too bad she’s just a passerby.] [She looks like a disposable extra who’ll die immediately.] Soon, Jiang Yun clashes with the male lead. [This vase of a girl might actually have something going for her.] [Tch, this is a male-led shonen manga. At most, she’s a little villain here to give the male lead some experience points.] Then Jiang Yun’s secret identity is exposed, and her true identity revealed. [Jiang Yun is actually the final boss??? Whew, when you think about it, no one else could possibly stand against the protagonist.] [Waaah, sobbing so hard. Jiang Yun and the male lead were destined to be lifelong enemies after all.] […Or is it just me, or are Jiang Yun and the male lead kind of shippable? The sexual tension is off the charts. (Blushing face.jpg)] And finally [I hereby declare Jiang Yun the most imposing villain I’ve ever seen!!! No wonder she’s the undisputed hottest woman by a mile. She deserves the title!] [When are we getting Jiang Yun’s own series? I’ll buy every copy, ahhh!] [When are we getting fan comics of her and the male lead? I’ll buy every copy. (Not the person in question)] [Magic chant: Archnemeses are archnemeses, you know. Archnemeses can’t become wives, so an archnemesis can only be a wife. Oh, no, I mean a wife can only be an archnemesis. No, what I mean is, archnemesis, mm, archnemesis…]* - One day, after Jiang Yun has successfully bowed out and is lazing around in a slice-of-life manga, the System’s announcement sounds. [Current male lead conquest progress (4/4), male leads who know the Host’s identity as a mission-taker (4/4). Hidden storyline unlocked: F4’s battlefield for love.] Jiang Yun, with all four secret identities exposed: Are they all racing to come and kill me? System (mercilessly): They’re all racing to come and (beep, ) you. Jiang Yun: ? #All four male leads are masochists# - They had always understood. They didn’t hate her. They just loved her so much it hurt.* - 1. [Important] Four archnemesis manga, plus an extra slice-of-life manga about the battle for love. The four worlds in the main story can each be read as standalone worlds. The focus is on achievement, with a pseudo-ensemble cast. This is my take on a reverse-harem power fantasy starring an irresistible heroine, so please don’t scrutinize plot holes. 2. [A few words] They’re all female secret identities, and the heroine is the strongest ultimate BOSS. All four male leads are head-over-heels for her. Other characters besides the male leads will fall for her too. Every romantic pairing in this story revolves around the heroine. The original manga have no pairings, so relationships between original characters are all platonic, with fist-bumps, hugs, and shoves. The heroine won’t return any clear romantic advances in the main story. Outside the manga, she’ll ultimately become the most popular character by far. The story includes a certain amount of manga forum and livestream-commentary scenes. 3. [Elements] Irresistible heroine + hottest woman + heroine’s secret identities exposed + archnemeses who love and fight each other + love rivals battling it out + all four male leads are endgame, no choosing favorites 4. [Note] The two lines marked with * are internet slang, not original writing. 5. The blurb has been slightly revised from the version first published on March 11, 2024, but the core idea is unchanged. - Blurb for A Shonen Manga Heroine’s Guide to Saving Herself Yue Mingzhu is the heroine of the hugely popular shonen manga Beyond Superpowers. She is the male lead’s official love interest, the younger sister of the stunning third male lead, and the object of the second male lead’s desire, who is a villain. As the heroine with deep entanglements with three hugely popular men, she has the lowest popularity of all and is despised by the readers. One day, Yue Mingzhu unexpectedly awakens and sees the readers’ comments. [Another day of hoping the heroine gets written off. The male lead and the second male lead are giving us sweet moments while they fight each other, so why are you acting crazy and butting in?] [I seriously can’t stand the heroine, that fake saintly white lotus. She’s no help at all to the male lead’s career.] [I ship it! The male lead may seem to like the heroine, but he definitely wants to be with her brother and become a real family!] [The male lead and all the other male characters are such a good match. I’m devouring this chaotic stew, hehe. As for the heroine, she’s just a censorship-compliance prop. No one with taste ships the official boy-girl pairing.] [Daily question: When will Yue Mingzhu, the only flaw in the entire manga, finally get written out?] At the same time, Yue Mingzhu receives a message from the manga’s consciousness: [Ding-dong! Because the Host has received a large number of negative reviews from the real world, if your popularity doesn’t rise quickly, the manga artist will write you to death and erase you completely.] [Please work hard to increase your popularity and stay alive.] - At this point, the story has reached a crucial scene. In the original plot, the male lead begs Yue Mingzhu to steal her family’s sacred artifact to revive the third male lead. Yue Mingzhu refuses. As she and the male lead struggle over it, the villainous second male lead arrives in time and gravely wounds her. The male lead unexpectedly unleashes his hidden power and resonates with Yue Mingzhu’s family’s sacred artifact. The artifact chooses him as its master. The male lead drives back the villain and begins making a name for himself around the world. As for Yue Mingzhu, she disgraces the title of saintess, which carries the duty of protecting the artifact, and becomes a disgrace to her family. The manga’s readers also tear into her relentlessly. System: “Host, I’ve already thought of what you should do. Just support the male lead’s career unconditionally here and hand over the sacred artifact. I guarantee the readers on the manga forum will see you in a whole new light!” Yue Mingzhu: “Oh.” Instead, she knocks out the male lead, claims the sacred artifact as its master, and greatly increases her power. Then she frames the villain: He stole the sacred artifact! QAQ Yue Mingzhu: “Why let the good stuff go to outsiders?” 030 What kind of future is there in sucking up to the male lead’s fans? If you’re going to do it, become the strongest fighter. A customized script for a powerful, beautiful, tragic heroine is already on its way. - Beyond Superpowers is a smash-hit shonen manga set in a superpower academy. One question has remained a hot topic on the forums for ages: Who is the most popular character in the manga, Yue Mingzhu or Wu Sidao? One is the shared ideal of everyone inside and outside the manga, hailed as the one and only pure white jasmine, a saintess of divine grace who saves all beings. The other is the manga’s most powerful, beautiful, and tragic character, a bewitching witch whose carefree exterior conceals unwavering conviction. She may be wicked, but she is undeniably charming. The two fandoms argue back and forth, never reaching a consensus. But they agree on one thing: Yue Mingzhu and Wu Sidao have left all the other characters in the dust! The era of the three popular men standing as equals is over. Now it’s a new world order, with the two hottest women, Mingzhu and Sidao, standing in opposition! #Wake up, people. The times have changed# Yue Mingzhu silently thinks: The saintess is my disguise, and the witch is a secret identity I created myself. I knew it. Who could be the hottest woman around if not me? Theme: Be independent and strong
