Silly bottom × monster top
A sweet, fantastical slice-of-life romance
Mingzhu was a spoiled rich beauty with a few screws loose. He had a head of fluffy, gorgeous natural curls, huge grape-like amber eyes, and a tiny face the size of a palm. His whole self was as fresh and pretty as a BJD doll.
In pursuit of love, he got involved with a strange and terrifying monster.
The monster was several meters tall, something like a snake but not quite. It had two sinister, vertical pupils, thick and ugly tentacles, and terrifying compound eyes all over the wings on its back.
Mingzhu earnestly made a wish to the monster: he wanted his hateful yet handsome senior to kneel at his leather shoes and become Mingzhu's most loyal servant.
The monster adored Mingzhu. Mingzhu smelled so good, and he looked absolutely delicious! But to eat Mingzhu, the monster first had to grant his wish.
*
So the monster eagerly disguised itself as Mingzhu's senior. Wearing a pink apron that didn't fit, it served him a strange, bright pink soup.
Mingzhu was completely taken in.
He cried out excitedly, propped his chin on his hands, and gazed at the monster in anticipation.
But after tasting the monster's pink soup, his expression changed in an instant.
The soup the monster had made was simply awful.
Mingzhu stuck out his tongue, planted his hands on his hips, and crowed triumphantly: "So much for being a genius! You're not so impressive after all. You can't even cook!"
*
The monster then disguised itself as a tall, muscular cleaning guy and snuck into Mingzhu's house. It worked diligently, but Mingzhu, in a bad mood, hit it on the arm with a remote control.
The greedy monster wanted a little taste.
It kindly and warmly offered to blow-dry Mingzhu's hair.
Mingzhu haughtily lifted his swanlike neck and slapped away the monster's outstretched arm. "Don't push your luck! With those clumsy hands, how dare you try to dry my hair?"
The monster failed again and again...
It almost ended up being tamed and becoming the loyal servant of King Mingzhu.
*
That was a close one!
Finally, after failing several times, the monster gave up trying to be clever. Wearing Mingzhu's senior's skin, it held out a beautiful, chattering ring and asked Mingzhu if he would marry it.
It planned to reveal its true form and eat him the moment Mingzhu said yes.
Mingzhu's round eyes began dropping happy little pearls. He raised his chin proudly and put on the beautiful, chattering ring.
The monster embraced Mingzhu too. It smiled sinisterly and told him it would fatten him up, hold him tenderly in its mouth, and sway with him for the rest of their lives without ever parting.
Then its head split open, and a terrifying monster several meters tall emerged from its handsome disguise. It roughly wrapped Mingzhu's finger in its filthy, sticky, suction-cup-covered tentacle, hoping to see him panic.
Who could have guessed that Mingzhu would take the initiative and kiss the monster's ugly, fat tentacle?
Monster: (._.)!
*A bonus scene
One Christmas, Mingzhu wanted to give the monster a present. After much thought, he decided to knit socks for the monster's big tentacles.
Mingzhu planted his hands on his hips and hummed as he sorted through colorful yarn and picked up his knitting needles to make the monster a sweater. But he got the yarn into a hopeless tangle, and the monster had to follow behind him, sorting it out.
At last, Mingzhu, clever and nimble with his hands, got so into knitting that all kinds of adorable, extra-long socks piled up in the living room. He enthusiastically put them on the monster, one tentacle at a time.
And then the monster became an adorable yet ugly Christmas tree monster.
[Reading guide]
1. Chapters 1 and 2 follow Mingzhu's long journey to find the monster and contain some mildly scary elements. If you're easily frightened, you can start at Chapter 3 without affecting your reading!
2. This story is sweet through and through. If it isn't sweet, you don't pay!

A preview of my upcoming novel: "Obsessed with Jellyfish Syndrome"
A dark fairy tale (?) that's both a little cute and a little terrifying.
.
Xing Er was a highly educated, elite police superintendent. Combined with his naturally gifted good looks, he was a perfect untouchable flower atop a high mountain. But he was rigid and unapproachable, so no matter how excellent or handsome he was, and despite being a police officer, not a single Omega dared to marry him.
Under relentless pressure from his family, he was still forced to marry an Omega.
But this Omega was strange. He was taller and stronger than Xing Er, looked more like an Alpha than Xing Er did, and fit the Omega ideal better than Xing Er himself.
The Omega was gentle and reserved, and incredibly domestic.
Every morning, just before Xing Er left for work, he gave him a deep kiss that reached into his throat. Every afternoon, he brought the bottom a delicious, carefully prepared bento and a bowl of thick, pink soup that smelled strange but tasted wonderfully good.
At night, rain or shine, he would stand without fail at the entrance to the police station, wearing a perfectly angled smile and staring motionlessly at the window of Xing Er's office, quietly waiting to go home together with Xing Er, whose return time was always uncertain.
But despite how lovely and warm it all was, Xing Er remained unmoved by his Omega. He was willing to maintain only the most superficial relationship in front of other people. He was so irritated that every time he saw the handsome, towering man standing by the road from his office window, he wanted to throw up, let alone do anything more intimate with him.
Until one day, Xing Er refused his wife's morning kiss and coldly asked him for a divorce. Immediately afterward, he saw the head of his Omega wife, seated across the dining table, suddenly split open.
A bulbous, umbrella-shaped head covered in tiny pink fuzz emerged. Countless pink tentacles spread out from inside it, each one layered with ugly compound eyes. Beneath the tangled tentacles was a hideous, menacing mouthpart, and it let out a shrill, affectionate screech at the bottom.
It was so beautiful...
Xing Er gazed at his lover in a trance, his heart pounding violently.
Actually, Xing Er had a secret. From the time he was little, he had always felt strangely fascinated by jellyfish and even objects shaped like jellyfish. But it was a secret, one he couldn't let anyone discover.
Theme: Sincere hearts bring sincere love, and life is as sweet as honey.
