Xia Lin had a strange dream.
In the dream, Batman, who was always flying across Gotham's night sky, stabbed her. Then he stood over her, looking down. After a long pause, he tore off his cowl, revealing a face beneath it.
A face exactly like that of her own father, Bruce Wayne.
Xia Lin: ...
Xia Lin woke up in her own luxurious, two-hundred-square-meter bedroom.
After a poor night's sleep, Miss Wayne sat on her bed, pondering life and that absurd dream. She decided to make up for it by gleefully maxing out the black card her father had given her. Then the family's old butler gently called her downstairs to eat. Over the meal, she mercilessly mocked her adopted older brother and her biological younger brother as they argued across the table.
Just after she finished her last sentence, a voice suddenly appeared in her head: [The System for a Wealthy Heiress's Comeback is activating!]
System: [Hi, sweetie! I'm System 0616, here to help you make a dazzling comeback as a wealthy heiress. Beat up your awful dad, kick your adopted brothers to the curb, and rise to become the head of the whole family!!]
Xia Lin: I always thought those dreams meant something was wrong with my mental health. Now it looks like I've actually gone insane.
Xia Lin thought about the pocket money her father had left on her black card and the shares she had inherited in the family company. Her eldest adopted brother had been exiled to neighboring Bludhaven to be a corporate drone. Apart from her second adopted brother, who was dead, there was her biological younger brother at the dinner table, too angry to speak up after she had just mocked him, and her third adopted brother, who had been dragged off to work at the company, where he spent every day pretending to be dead with dark circles under his eyes.
Xia Lin: [Um... what exactly do you mean by a comeback?]
