[Affection-starved, flirtatious bartender x reserved professor with a hidden dark side]
Next story: "Meeting Her"
Blurb:
1.
Yi Jin first meets Duan Zhiyu on the day she takes Yi Cheng to start her freshman year of college. A yellowing life withers before her eyes. A drifting leaf catches her gaze and leads it straight to the woman standing opposite her.
The cool breeze of early autumn quietly traces the woman's features, which are so impassive they betray not a hint of feeling.
Beneath the rustling leaves, Yi Jin's heart seems to flutter. She wants to see someone like this let go and give in to desire.
Her wish comes true the second time they meet.
It is the first rain of autumn that year. The rain nearly floods the entire bedroom, but in the end, the storm is always calmed by the other person.
If she is a rose blooming in the depths of winter, then Duan Zhiyu is a frigid river in early winter, coolly hiding every trace of warmth.
After that, they keep crossing paths on countless nights. It seems inevitable that their hearts will be stirred.
2.
At night, Duan Zhiyu is more urgent than ever. She grips the rose she loves most on Yi Jin's waist and declares without a hint of emotion, "After this, we're over."
Yi Jin agrees through her tears, crying until the sky begins to pale. The exhaustion of a sleepless night cannot outweigh the secret ache in her heart. "Have you made up your mind? You want to end things with me?"
The room is unlit, damp and charged with desire. Duan Zhiyu's expression is hidden in the darkness, and even the emotion in her voice is concealed. "This was always a relationship we both wanted. It's normal to end it when we've had enough."
A relationship built on desire is bound not to last. They began at night and ended at night.
But they both forgot that love is what builds desire, a thread that remains unbroken and grows tighter the more it is pulled.
3.
Three years later, Yi Jin gets up early to meet Yi Cheng at the airport after she returns from studying abroad.
Just like the first time they met four years ago, that cold, striking figure stands clearly in front of her.
Beside her, Yi Cheng is beaming with excitement as she introduces them. "Sis! This is Professor Duan. Do you remember her?"
Yi Jin suppresses the turmoil in her heart and merely curls her lips into a smile. "I'm getting old. I don't really remember."
Yi Cheng has no choice but to turn back and start introducing them again.
But Duan Zhiyu suddenly interrupts her. Looking at the face before her, almost unchanged from her memory, her eyes soften. "Yi Jin. I know her. I've been thinking about the rose tattoo on her waist for three whole years."

#One-on-one romance, romance-focused, romance-focused, romance-focused, with a slightly slow pace.
#A melodramatic story, probably about healing, in a fictional setting.
#They take turns in bed, with a slight preference for the receiving role.
#The author is writing for personal enjoyment.
#Amateurish writing and illogical plot. Feel free to come and go without notice.
#The blurb is only a brief outline of the story. The blurb and the main text may differ slightly.
Next story (blurb to be revised before publication):
[Innocent, reserved explorer x gentle, thoughtful psychologist]
Blurb: (2024.5.12)
Chen Zui was adopted from an orphanage by her foster parents at the age of six. At ten, she became an orphan again.
She thinks she may simply be doomed to a life of loneliness, destined to grow old alone.
Chen Zui never went back to the orphanage. She studied and lived on her own. When people bullied her, she fought back. When they shunned her, she found it all the more peaceful.
After struggling through life and graduating from college, Chen Zui used the little money she had saved to open a coffee shop. After that, she took her gear and went exploring, each destination more dangerous than the last.
Chen Zui says that in her world, there is no yesterday or tomorrow, only the present. Even if she might die on an expedition tomorrow, she wouldn't spend the moments before her death wondering whether she could survive the next second.
She's willing to let go of everything: her coffee shop, her foster parents' inheritance, even her own life.
She has always believed she was living in the face of death.
But then she met Jiang Feiwan.
Jiang Feiwan is so gentle. Chen Zui craves that gentleness, especially after getting hurt on one of her expeditions.
Jiang Feiwan is like a lily frozen in ice, so fragile it might shatter at a touch. She likes to hide in the dark and cry, tending to wounds no one else knows about.
Chen Zui is curious about the soul behind Jiang Feiwan's seemingly perfect exterior.
Later, Chen Zui learns the truth, and falls in love with Jiang Feiwan.
On the day she confesses, Chen Zui takes Jiang Feiwan to watch the sunset, its light seeming to touch the heart. She gently cups Jiang Feiwan's face and confesses with all the love in her heart: "From the moment I met you, every moment of my life has been lived for you."
--
Some people have no past or future. They live in the present, like a wandering planet adrift in the vast, misty universe, never knowing what tomorrow will bring.
Those were the words Jiang Feiwan wrote in her diary when she first met Chen Zui.
She envies Chen Zui's carefree spirit.
They say doctors can't heal themselves. Jiang Feiwan has been a psychologist for twelve years, healing countless people, but she's never once thought of treating herself.
But Chen Zui's confession is so moving that she gives herself to her without reservation.
Jiang Feiwan says she wants to be by Chen Zui's side at every moment, joining her on adventures and sharing in the anticipation of every tomorrow worth looking forward to.
Every day.
[I'll always remember the pavilion by the creek at dusk. With you beside me, I'll never forget the way home.]

A few things to know before reading:
1. One-on-one romance, happy ending.
2. Not a long story, with a touch of healing.
3. Mild melodrama, with plenty of author's personal worldbuilding.
4. They take turns in bed, with a slight preference for the giving role.
Theme: The way roses bloom at night.
The author writes very well, and it is one of the few novels that I have been able to finish during my recent bottleneck period. I was attracted by the copywriting before and kept it on my bookshelf. When I saw it was finished, I started reading it immediately. The two characters are very well portrayed. I hope the author can continue writing and update more extras 💪 💪 I hope the two protagonists will always love each other in their world 🤗 🤗
I found out today that this book has been marked as finished, and I couldn't bear to part with it. The story of Ajin and Professor Duan in the parallel world is still going on. I hope you two can continue to walk happily (of course it would be better if you could update more extras hehe)
🍉[Spread Flowers][Spread Flowers] In fact, at first I really felt that Professor Duan and Mr. Shen were a bit similar (sometimes their behavior made them both look like blue or green personalities), but later I actually felt that their personalities were different. They are independent individuals with their own life trajectories. Different trajectories constitute different individuals, and then they make different choices. 💪
Professor Duan, is this a reward or a punishment?
I like these chapters so much, I read them over and over again
I don't remember if it's the second or third time. I hope there will be more extras. It's so hard to quit😭😭😭
Would you like to update the extra chapter a lot? 🥺
Or do you young lovers know how to play 🐶
Can you please not resign?
Professor Duan and Mr. Yi will be happy forever!!!! Reluctant to part with it!!! Very well written
