The story includes occasional flashbacks to the 21st century, featuring the heroine and her best friend, but there won't be many.

At that moment, Player 001, whose username [I Want to Supermarket Fourth Master] floats over her head, is crawling around in a dark, twisted manner beneath the moonlight, wearing platform shoes. She climbs a tree branch and marvels at how real everything around her seems.

The moment she sees Xuan Ye, she rushes to him at lightning speed, sashaying over and coyly batting her eyes at him with a handkerchief.

"Damn, was Kangxi always this handsome? I need to change my ID. Sandwich, hehehe."

After ordering people to guard the player, Xuan Ye spends the whole night studying the panel and finds its manual. After reading it, he breathes a huge sigh of relief. He has partial control over the players.

But he never imagined that he had sighed too soon. The next morning, while he is holding court, Player 001 barges into the Hall of Supreme Harmony, hair disheveled and court dress hanging loose, then kneels before everyone.

"Your Majesty, I wish to accuse Noble Consort Xi of adultery and corrupting the imperial harem. Her crimes are unforgivable!"

Xuan Ye is stunned. He's about to fly into a rage when he plops back down.

If he remembers correctly, there shouldn't be anyone called "Noble Consort Xi" in his harem.

Halfway through scolding the player for behaving outrageously, he sees another line of text appear above her head: "Okay, okay, time to do the quest."

"Your Majesty, I volunteer to leave the palace and kill Wu Sangui. I won't come back until he's dead!"

Before Xuan Ye can say a word, the ministers erupt, all condemning her for defying the law and making outrageous claims.
