Ginger Blue Moon [Marriage Before Love]

Update note: I'm looking for work back in China. I'll update when I have time. Thank you for waiting and for your support!

Marriage first, love later: a story of an old man's secret crush

Beautiful, laid-back little troublemaker VS a big bad wolf who says one thing and means another

Obscure influencer VS industry bigwig

There are plenty of rumors about Tan Jilou.

He's the eldest grandson of the Tan family, but made his own way and became a rising star in the business world.

Rumor has it he's aloof, never socializes, and is ruthless at work. Everyone fears him as a big bad wolf.

The rumors grew when Tan Jilou left for North America for five years, and again when he suddenly returned to China.

But the first thing this big bad wolf did was...

force a woman eight years younger than him to marry him.

*

Xu Ruyuan has a lot to say about this, because...

she's the unlucky one.

"Miss Xu, it's time to honor our engagement."

"Mr. Tan, if you ask me, we just aren't suited for marriage. You only eat plain broth in your hot pot, dip everything in soy sauce, and won't eat chili peppers, cilantro, or pig brains..."

*

Later, a million fireworks, a golden cage for his beloved.

The cold-faced big bad wolf from the industry rumors is pinned to a sofa in a deserted corner of the city, being interrogated.

"Tell me! Why do you call me Chouchou?"

Xu Ruyuan looks down at Tan Jilou and lifts his chin.

He gently tucks the loose hair behind her ear, his gaze full of affection.

- "Chouchou, Mon chouchou."

- "It means 'my darling.'"

A friendly reminder:

1. The male lead always does more than he says.

2. What the female lead sees isn't always the truth.

3. Read between the lines.

4. Both leads are virgins; happy ending.

Premise: Always be kind, always strive upward.
