Me, Born to Be an Emperor, Just an Ordinary Rebel

[Eastern Fantasy]

After transmigrating, Sheng Yu was thrust onto the emperor's throne at the tender age of nine. They say a renowned cultivator declared that she was born with the destiny of an emperor and could ensure peace and prosperity for the Great Yu.

Later, Sheng Yu learned that the Great Yu had been marked by an immortal sect as a site for their cultivation grounds forty years ago. Forget about peace and prosperity: the people had no hope of living in peace, and anyone who could flee had already fled. Even the so-called imperial destiny prediction had been fabricated by a fake Daoist priest.

Sheng Yu: Whatever. If I say it's mine, then it is. Why would I give up something I've already got?

A trembling minister pointed at the Regent's face, his eyes still open in death: Your Majesty, how could you anger the immortal envoy?!

Sheng Yu: I was just being a little rebellious. Don't panic. The real show is still to come.

Minister: Dies.

Nine winding dreams, nine palaces in the wind; one journey through mountains and seas, one city filled with song.
