Everyday Life on the 1960s Frontier

Zheng Minyue had a long dream. She didn't know whether it was a past life or present life, or a dream within a dream like Zhuang Zhou's, but she was willing to believe she'd once been a seven-foot-tall female general in a troubled age. She was also willing to believe that, in a bid to protect a home that no one could save, she'd spent two years achieving nothing before dying in an accident. Perhaps her realization came too late: only at the very end did she realize she'd become the very kind of person she despised, cowering in a house she thought was her last “comfort” and trapping herself there. So in this life, she plans to take a new path: to the frontier, and across the length and breadth of her motherland.

A supernaturally strong ancient female general VS a handsome, occasionally awkward, paternal “old” cadre

Note: “Seven feet” refers to the ancient measure of height. The female lead was once 175 centimeters tall, though she's now only 172. In ancient times, she was an orphan at a Taoist convent. Later, she joined a rebel army, invented little gadgets, and led troops into battle. She's a physically powerful science-brained type.

P.S. A coming-of-age story with lots of everyday life.

Theme: Help build our motherland's magnificent landscapes.
