Synopsis

Vermilion Series, Book 8

The flood was about to cover the earth, and every living creature with flesh and breath would die.

All the springs of the deep burst open, and the floodgates of the sky opened, pouring down rain in torrents.

Noah counted the days inside the ark. Just as God had said, the rain fell for forty days and forty nights. The waters kept rising, submerging the land that bore the ark, until it floated and drifted across the water.

The waters rose quickly, surging mightily over the earth. When they stood fifteen cubits above the tallest mountain, every mountain and every stretch of land beneath the sky was submerged.

Every living thing that moved on the earth died: the birds, the livestock, the wild animals, every creature that swarmed across the ground, and all humanity.

Every creature on dry land that needed air to breathe was destroyed.

Theme: The righteous are those who obey God completely and possess pure hearts and upright character. They demonstrate moral integrity not only in their daily lives, but also by upholding justice and truth in the face of hardship and challenges.
