In some year of the 22nd century, a patrol team discovered a body near the coast.
The victim was suspected of having been killed by an alien species. The official cause of death was drowning.
Three days later, Gu Zhou returned to Jingluo Town to inherit her estate.
The family's fortune, accumulated over a century, was already gone. All that was left to her was a worthless old house by the sea, known locally as the "haunted house."
Gu Zhou had no idea what awaited her: an apocalyptic crisis.
