After Kissing My Cool, Obsessive Nemesis

*

Jiang Li transmigrates.

When she opens her eyes, the beautiful immortal Venerable before her is as cold as snow and breathtakingly elegant.

Too bad she's on a stake, about to be burned alive. The next second, the beautiful immortal Venerable runs her through.

System: "She's Xie Yuheng, your nemesis. Before you took over the account, the original host slaughtered five sects and six schools. You're unquestionably a wicked witch."

"You're doomed to die this time, but you can find a way to take Xie Yuheng down with you. Once you die, you'll be reborn."

To survive, Jiang Li decides to give this cold-hearted, emotionless cultivator a little shock.

In front of everyone in the immortal sect, Jiang Li holds poison between her lips and kisses Xie Yuheng, not caring whether she lives or dies. She successfully takes her mortal enemy down with her.

The immortal sect is in an uproar. Everyone says Xie Yuheng and Jiang Li were secretly involved all along. They seemed bent on killing each other, but in truth their love was a sea of passion and sorrow.

The good news is that Jiang Li is reborn without a hitch.

The bad news is that Xie Yuheng is reborn with her.

Xie Yuheng: "I hear I was deeply in love with you and couldn't help myself?"

Jiang Li breaks out in a cold sweat and hastily says she wouldn't dare make such a claim.

Xie Yuheng: "I hear I damaged my Dao heart for you and was willing to die for love?"

Jiang Li is sweating buckets and keeps insisting she's not worthy.

Later, the moon bows its head and the immortal Venerable falls in love, but Jiang Li truly never crosses the line again.

"Congratulations, Venerable. Your path of ruthless cultivation is nearly perfected. From now on, may your Dao be complete and your life as long as Heaven's."

On the day of the lightning tribulation, Jiang Li smiles faintly and offers her congratulations again and again. Xie Yuheng finds that smile unbearably grating.

So she pins Jiang Li to the bed, restrains her hands, and covers her eyes with red gauze.

Xie Yuheng slowly traces Jiang Li's lips, then leans into her embrace, her expression obsessive and dazed.

"My Dao is complete, and my life will last as long as Heaven's."

"Is that truly what you want?"
