Back to Freshman Year

When Xu Chaoyang opened his eyes, he could hardly believe it. He was looking at his teachers and classmates from his first year of high school. Even though so much time had passed that he should have forgotten their faces, the moment he saw them, he could still call out their names. It took Xu Chaoyang an entire day to finally confirm that he had been reborn. He was back on the day the results of the first monthly exam of his first year of high school came out. At the start of high school, Xu Chaoyang had been full of confidence, but it didn't last long. He took his first monthly exam and did terribly. In middle school, he had always ranked among the top three in his grade, and he had even scored highly enough on the high school entrance exam to get into the Hongzhi class at the county high school. All that pride vanished when he failed the monthly exam and ranked near the bottom of his class. Back then, it crushed him. His grades got worse with every exam. He didn't even get into a regular university on the college entrance exam, and his parents were left to work themselves ragged for half their lives because of him. Now he was back in his first year of high school, at the very moment the monthly exams had just ended. Thinking back on his previous life, he had once been his parents' pride and joy, but later he had fallen into a slump and rarely even went home for the New Year, afraid of hearing people gossip. Everything had only just begun. There was still time. This time, he would make the most of his youth and never disappoint his parents' expectations again! Back in high school, he would bring his parents along to a better life! Theme: Where there's a will, there's a way
