Xie Qingyu is a novelist with a peculiar hobby: he likes to kill off the protagonists in his stories.
One day, he transmigrates into the world of his own novel and becomes the murderer who killed all the protagonists...
And now, every protagonist he killed has been reborn...
Even worse, they have already set their sights on their killer, Xie Qingyu!
The protagonists: "I have to kill you before you kill me."
Xie Qingyu is at his wit's end. How can he explain that he's not the murderer?!
"What do you mean? I would kill you?"
"You must have it wrong! I'm so frail. How could I kill anyone?"
"If you don't believe me, you can keep me by your side and watch me!"
After staying by the protagonists' sides, Xie Qingyu gains a god's-eye view and breezes through every challenge.
"Mr. Li, don't you think your driver is suspicious?"
"Your Majesty, I sense the Prince of the Northwest may rebel!"
"Officer Wu, I know where this criminal is going to flee next!"
Xie Qingyu's "God's Eye" comes in handy. His suggestions earn him the protagonists' trust one by one, and help them reclaim their place at the top after being reborn.
Later, after journeying through five worlds, Xie Qingyu returns to the real world.
He swears: From now on, he'll never kill off a protagonist so casually again!
