[Entertainment Industry] No Man's Land

At some point, any entertainment-industry publicity team hoping to make a splash started treating the shows hosted by Lin Zhishui as essential stops.

From traditional variety shows to YouTube web programs, everyone from award-winning actors and actresses to popular idols scrambled to get on.

But this woman, who was everyone's favorite and seemed so likable, wasn't some harmless, flawless public persona. Quite the opposite. As a semi-regular guest on Witch Hunt, Lin Zhishui was most often asked, "Oh, witch, oh, witch, do you have any vacancies in your fishpond, where you limit the number of men?"

Sure, I spent a whole lot of money, but nobody ever promised I'd get a whole lot of love in return, did they?

Lin Zhishui said, "The more friends you have, the more paths you have. That's all."

Her public image had been so successful that when her ambiguous relationships were forced into the open and the rivalry shifted from behind the scenes to out in the open, fans of all the involved parties were left devastated. Passersby just wanted the gossip and wanted Lin Zhishui to write a book.

All love seemed to flow toward her as a matter of course, with no exceptions.

The world's worst crime is to fall in love too easily, and I love this crime.

Here, you'll find: Cao, the first love everyone considers the root of all evil; Zhao, wondering how long it takes to go from friends with benefits to official boyfriend; Yuan (Gold?), who says, "You said surviving in the entertainment industry was hard, so I pulled some strings, and now you're mad?"; He, who switches back and forth between superfan and self-insert romantic; Zheng, whose online flirting at their first meeting cost him any chance to get involved, leaving him full of regret; Li Hezhe, who pretends to be in a fake relationship with his best friend's goddess, even though he wants it to be real; Kong, tormented again and again by being put on a pedestal as a paragon of morality; and One, Two, and Three, who try to trick her into marriage by claiming they can each do their own thing afterward.

A story where I let loose, full of passionate romantic rivalries. Look up at the sky.
