Now that I've saved up enough money, it's time for a romantic trip out to sea!
That's what Xia Ying thought as he excitedly set off on his journey.
Standing on the deck, he exclaimed, "Wow, what a fat fish! What a beautiful sea! Those waves are so high!"
One day later, Xia Ying was swept onto a deserted island by a tsunami: QAq
Forced to survive in the wilderness, he gradually realized something was off. Why was everything on this island so strange?
After being chased and beaten by n strange creatures, he gazed at the enchanting yet dangerous mermaid before him and exclaimed, "Wow, you're beautiful."
The mermaid, Lace: "? Then why are you running? Get back here!"
And so, the miserable Xia Ying was forced to form a bond with a mermaid, beginning a grand adventure in another world!
During a crisis, Lace was forced to flee and ended up trapped in a little pool.
Just as he was growing frustrated, a human radiating a pure white glow, as dazzling as a jewel, suddenly fell from the sky and captured all his attention.
So beautiful, he thought. I want him.
But the human bolted the moment he saw Lace. Fuming, Lace wrapped his tail around the human's waist. Why are you running? Am I not beautiful enough!
------------Interlude Break-------------
1. Starting a fire by friction:
Xia Ying: Great! The first step to survival is making a fire!
Ten minutes later.
Xia Ying, clutching his hands, broke down: Where's the fire?!
Lace propped his chin on his hand and watched for ages as the little human squealed and shouted. Then he grabbed the fire-breathing mushroom that had been hanging around nearby and gave it a squeeze. Coolly, he said, "You should've said you wanted a fire sooner."
Xia Ying: ...
2. The pirates are here:
The arrogant pirate cackled, "Hahaha, a high-ranking mermaid! I'm going to sell you!"
Lace smacked him across the face with his tail. "Sell who?"
The pirate, clutching his face: "Hahaha, then I'll sell this soft-skinned human!"
Lace smacked him across the face with his tail. "Sell who?"
The pirate, clutching his face: "...Then I'll sell this fire-breathing mushroom?"
Lace smacked him across the face with his tail. "Sell who?"
The pirate: "Sell me, sell me!"
Xia Ying, starry-eyed: "What a domineering mermaid. I'm falling for him."
Rescuing the mermaid:
The noble and reserved mermaid, Lace: "If you rescue me, I'll grant any wish you have."
Xia Ying: "Then I want to return to my original world."
Lace: "...That one won't work."
Xia Ying: "Then I want a hundred million."
Lace: "..."
Xia Ying: "..."
Lace, angrily slapping his tail: "I don't care! I want you to rescue me!"
