Shen Qingqing had no other talents, but she was exceptionally skilled in lightness kung fu. When times were hard, she occasionally turned to a life of larceny.

Shen Qingqing was about to explain, but a sudden pain shot through her chest. She looked down and saw that the beautiful man had somehow already plunged a freezing sword into her heart...
When she woke again, she was back on the palace roof, one foot going through that same patch of broken tiles. The ground gave way beneath her, and she fell.
The same beautiful man, the same cold sword piercing her chest. Once more, she returned to the roof...

After being reborn again and again, Shen Qingqing finally pulled the bathing Crown Prince, Di Mochen, into the time loop with her.
As it turned out, a large group of black-clad assassins had tried to kill the Crown Prince that day. After many twists and turns, the two joined forces, survived the assassination attempt, and discovered who was behind it.
The mystery was finally solved, and they thought the cycle was about to end. But after they fell into a deep sleep, they opened their eyes the next morning and Di Mochen was back in the bathhouse.
A woman dressed in black appeared out of nowhere.
But this woman didn't recognize him.
Di Mochen was completely baffled. He took Shen Qingqing to defeat the villain again, and that night he nervously closed his eyes. Sure enough, the next day he was back in the bathhouse again.
After many loops, Shen Qingqing smiled. "Could it be that I'd already died the first time I fell in? And everything that happened afterward was just to help you get through this ordeal?"
Di Mochen looked at her anxiously. "What do you mean?"
Shen Qingqing's lips curved upward, though her eyes were full of sorrow. "I mean, when you wake up tomorrow, you'll meet me just like you did the first time, and kill me."
