[Detective Conan] Is the Moonlight in Someone's Heart Free Today?

Pairing: Hiromitsu Morofushi x original male protagonist

[I've always been curious: what is it that you seek?]

Jingu Shintei: a bartender, a witness to a story, a truly free soul.

He is the exception in this world.

It took Hiromitsu Morofushi a long time to understand that.

"I'll bring you a bouquet of yellow roses at dawn," he heard that person say.

"Mm, why?"

"Because I like watching you," that person replied.

"Until you stop watching me?"

"No, until I can no longer tell you apart from the yellow roses."

Hiromitsu Morofushi, an undercover public security officer, a sacrificed supporting character, a "person" held captive.

Jingu Shintei wanted to see the other side of this world.

So he chose Hiromitsu Morofushi. He wanted to know whether a "supporting character" could possess a true self.

He staked everything on the other man, not caring whether he might lose it all.

He watched Hiromitsu Morofushi leave him behind without hesitation and escape the mire.

That was fine too. He was happy to see Hiromitsu Morofushi seek his freedom.

They had never firmly chosen each other, and that was fair.

But this time, things seemed different. As he watched Hiromitsu Morofushi's figure, he suddenly realized that perhaps he was no longer alone.

"What I seek? 1207, there's nothing I seek. Someday you'll understand that people don't live to pursue something or someone. They live simply by their own free will."

Reader's Guide:

2. Happy ending, overall a sweet story.

3. Other original characters will appear.

4. Updates will be slow (the author is very busy in real life), but it won't be abandoned.

5. The good guys win in the end.
