So small and fragile that it might break if squeezed, yet it foolishly tried to protect him, even willing to die alongside him. For the first time, Shen Yue did something unplanned and took the cat home. He named it Bai Miao. Bai Miao is sometimes well-behaved, but at other times incredibly clingy. It has to cuddle up to its owner and be held, or it won't go to sleep. It's also jealous, getting so upset at the smell of another creature on its owner that it refuses to eat. It would love to cling to Shen Yue twenty-four hours a day. One day, these symptoms start getting worse. Bai Miao becomes restless and starts wrecking the house, scratching lines into the sofa with its claws. People say it's gone into heat and should be neutered. On the very night Shen Yue plans to make the appointment, Bai Miao turns into a person and begs him to stop, meowing all the while. It cries out in broken human speech, almost on the verge of tears: "You're my mate... You can't cut off... my balls..." - Shen Yue thinks that was the first time they met. In truth, Bai Miao had wanted to be his cat for a long time. But Shen Yue is different from other people. His gentleness is only a shallow disguise. The real him is a cold-hearted, emotionless monster with tentacles. If you want to be his cat, you have to obey him. From body to mind, from head to toe, you must submit to him completely.
