Also known as “Jinning’s Cultivation Record: The Cultivation World Arc.” Cultivation levels: Qi Refining, Foundation Establishment, Golden Core, Nascent Soul, and Deification.
Synopsis:
As an ordinary, high-achieving office worker from a somewhat unhappy family, Jinning spent nearly twenty years studying. Just one year after graduating and starting work, she tragically died from overwork.
Fortunately, she transmigrated as a baby into a cultivation world where people could cultivate immortality. She became the daughter of a young family head in a small clan, with loving parents and both grandparents still alive.
Though she had no memories in the womb, how could a soul that had transmigrated not have something special about it?
Her innate fetal spirit wisdom and instincts led her to absorb a great deal of primordial energy while in her mother’s womb. This gave her a head start from birth: a single wood spirit root, an innate body, and a large store of primordial energy in her dantian, something other innate bodies did not possess.
At seven, she recovered her memories from her previous life and carefully hid them.
When she joined a sect, she discovered she had an innate body and abundant primordial energy, and carefully hid them.
While browsing the marketplace, she came across a chance to acquire a little gourd grown by the immortal plant Qiankun Gourd. She gained a spirit pet and a pocket dimension, and continued to hide her advantages.
When she learned spiritual plant cultivation, she discovered she had a Heavenly Wood Spirit Root and a wood spirit body, and still took care to hide them.
When she began alchemy, she discovered her talent was exceptional, so she revealed some of it while concealing the rest.
Others were astonished by the talent and abilities she displayed, unaware that they were only the tip of the iceberg. She knew all too well that possessing a treasure could bring trouble.
Her intelligence, kindness, perseverance, and caution were forged in her previous life. Her extraordinary spirit root, special constitution, remarkable comprehension, and good fortune were gifts from heaven in this life.
All of this, from both her past and present lives, combined to help her soar in this life: her wisdom, character, talent, and opportunities.
The love of her family, the admiration of her clan, the esteem of her master, the affection of her senior brother, and the admiration of fellow cultivators would all adorn her dazzling path of cultivation.
Cultivating the Dao, ascending to immortality, stepping onto the road to the heavens, climbing the ninefold sky, and seeking freedom: these were the goals she pursued in this life!
For Jinning, stepping onto the path to immortality meant transforming into a dragon as soon as she caught the wind!
P.S.
1. Cultivation and leveling up are the focus, with romance as a secondary element. There is family affection, friendship, and romance. The love interest is her senior brother.
2. Some readers have said that parts involving saving the little gourd feel a little too saintly.
3. The female lead is not very strong early on and keeps a low profile while she grows. Some sections, such as those involving Jiang Yurong and Manager Cheng, can be a little frustrating.
