"You're no assassin after all. Assassins don't leave traces." Li Xu holds half a silk thread in his hand and speaks calmly.
In the intimate hush of the room, their breaths mingling, Li Xu takes Yansui's sword-wielding left hand. His eyes hold the tenderness he always shows her.
"Besides, how do you know I'm not one of you?"
Later, wherever Yansui's sword points, Li Xu is always behind her.
