A Little Mermaid for the Retired General

Federation General Xia Wushang retired after suffering a mental breakdown. Keeping his identity a secret, he went to a coastal city to relax.

Someone presented him with a little mermaid with black hair, black eyes, and a silver tail.

The mermaid lay in front of him, gazing up with tearful eyes as he begged Xia Wushang to keep him.

The little mermaid was beautiful and delicate, as if he couldn't survive without Xia Wushang.

Xia Wushang stroked his silver tail and looked at the little mermaid, who bore a ninety-percent resemblance to the one in a comic. He decided to keep him.

The little mermaid was sweet, adorable, and exceptionally well-behaved, but he couldn't take care of himself. So Xia Wushang kept him by his side at all times, afraid he might get hurt.

Then one day, Xia Wushang received a summons from the military and had no choice but to head to the front lines.

After making arrangements for the little mermaid, he raced to the front. He had to deal with the aliens as quickly as possible so he could go home and look after him.

Just as the decisive battle was about to begin, Xia Wushang sensed an incredibly powerful alien at the safehouse.

He hurried back, only to find the sweet, well-behaved little mermaid swinging his silver tail as he took down a group of formidable aliens.

Xia Wushang: ...

The little mermaid looked at Xia Wushang, delight flashing in his eyes. He whimpered, "Master, someone bullied me."

What do you do when your fierce little mermaid only acts cute for you?

Xia Wushang: Then I'll spoil him.

P.S. After retiring, the general works as a comic artist.
