Blurb:
Three years ago, Xie Junze, the future head of the Xie Group, died unexpectedly.
At the funeral, his secret lover, Shang Qingmu, dressed in white, coldly surveyed the Xie family members pretending to grieve and swore to make them pay.
Three years later, Shang Qingmu had completed his revenge. Everyone who had plotted to kill Xie Junze had gotten what they deserved, but the strain had taken a terrible toll on his health, and he soon died suddenly of an illness.
When he opened his eyes again, he had arrived in the game world of the dead. Here, every soul that left the world with unfinished business might have the chance to return to the living, as long as they earned enough points.
Shang Qingmu had little attachment to the world of the living, but he was sure Xie Junze would choose to remain here, searching for a way to come back to life and see him again.
So he stayed too, eagerly taking part in the games and searching for Xie Junze among the endless sea of ghosts.
[Rule-Exploration Instance]
"As long as you find all the clues and don't break any rules, most people have a chance to clear it."
"Then where do the clues come from?"
Shang Qingmu opened his palm. Between his fingers, a flower representing [Justice] bloomed quietly. The cool, elegant beauty before them whispered seductively like a demon: "Advance me some of your clearance points, and I'll lead you out of this dangerous gamble."
"If I fail, I'll pay you back with a fate worse than death."
[Battle Royale Instance]
A thousand hunt their prey, while ten thousand bones lie in sorrow.
There are no safe zones and no rest areas, only endless pursuit, until your sluggish legs can no longer outrun death's bite.
"The clearance rate is 1%. There are ten spots in total, first come, first served."
With a vicious ghost about to break free behind him, Shang Qingmu, slim and frail as if a strong wind could knock him over, calmly bit down on the starflower representing [Promise].
"As for my own chance of survival? It's for sale too, if you can pay the price."
Later, every player knew that a reckless point hunter had arrived in the game world. He challenged every seemingly impossible task and seized every opportunity to gather information, all to search for his lover, but found no trace of him.
Until one day, Shang Qingmu met a man in an instance who looked astonishingly like Xie Junze. His eyes filled with tears, and he called out, "Honey!"
But the man coldly replied, "Who are you? I don't know you. Don't call me that."
Shang Qingmu: "..."
He'd found his husband, but he had amnesia. What should he do?
He'd just have to capture him all over again. ୧(๑˃⤙˂๑)୨

Participant [Xie], ranked number one on the points leaderboard, unexpectedly failed to clear a game and became the final boss of an instance.
Strangely, he retained most of his rationality, only losing some subtle memories. His obsession from before death drove him to keep entering instances, hoping to exchange points for an item that could save his lover, who was still alive in the world of the living.
Until one day, he obtained the item, but it failed when he tried to use it.
It turned out his lover had already died.
"It feels as though I have waited an eternity for this moment, just to kindle my light and gather my flowers."
