I, Miki Shimei, am the shining light of tomorrow in the detective world, a gifted student who graduated with honors from BLUE Detective Training School. I was once known alongside someone as one of the "Twin Stars," but both of us ended up being expelled in disgrace.

Miki Shimei, sprawled on the sofa with egg-shaped eyes and his arm over his face, sniffled.
"Waaah, I know, Ranpo nii-nii, waaah..."
