A little short story~ When I was a child, my grandfather and I killed a giant python in the hills behind our home. It was said to have lived for a thousand years. We skinned it, and I've kept the skin ever since. I never expected my own closest relatives to covet and scheme for it. My childhood was difficult, but my grandfather helped me through it. Now that he's gone, the thousand-year-old snakeskin has made my family ties even more strained.
