A fox spirit named Bai Yi falls into another world.
Everyone in this world is human, he can't understand their language, and, worst of all, there's no spiritual energy. Without it, he'll slowly turn into a beast!
Just as Bai Yi is so anxious he's digging a hole to bury himself and make his final arrangements, he unearths traces of demonic power carrying the scent of his own kind. Even though it's only a trace, that domineering, vicious smell can only belong to a powerful demon.
With the simple idea that he can either get crushed or get a little spiritual energy, Bai Yi digs and cultivates while searching for the owner of the scent. He finds the powerful demon's home, and a cub who thinks he's a sheep?
