[Mid Lane Young Master, Don't Run] - Honor of Kings KPL Fanfic: Jiuwei / Yinuo / Wuji

/"Hey, Dajie, someone took your spot."

"She's a bad girl."

"You're a dummy."

// Professional esports player Xu Xinzhen x terrible-at-games Jiang You

A light, sweet story.

The young man makes a name for himself in a single match, his proud, unruly presence drawing Jiang You in completely. From then on, the name Xu Xinzhen is no longer just a string of letters to her.

"There's no towering tree to cover the esports scene. Only Nine-Tailed Fox can bring all things to heel." He is the vibrant promise of spring; he is the most romantic expression of the Tyndall effect; he is love at first sight from Romeo and Juliet.

Jiang You clutches his sleeve tightly. But her few words can't capture the hardships he's been through, and her flat, lifeless prose can't express everything she feels for him.

///On Lunar New Year's Eve, Xu Xinzhen nervously stands with Jiang You outside her mother's door.

"Why are you carrying so many bags?" Jiang You tilts her head at him. "Are you running away from home?"

"Dajie, I can't show up at your house empty-handed." Xu Xinzhen starts to push the door open, then freezes.

"Aren't you going in?"

His hand hangs in midair, still trembling. "Wait, what am I supposed to say when I go in?"
