Tracing Time

Everything happens for a reason, and time is its proof...

Xia Hesheng hates trouble, but lately, many Systems have started malfunctioning. At first it was only a few, but more and more began to have problems, and mishaps kept cropping up. As one of the lead System researchers, he was also “volunteered” to work briefly with the inspection team to make repairs. They even temporarily established a Seventh District that had to do a bit of everything, and took part in joint training! Amid days that were sometimes busy and sometimes quiet, he realized there was something different about him. Gradually, the curtain was drawn back: everything was caused by uninvited guests who stole time, the Time Thieves. They were affecting the Systems to steal the time stored within them. To stop them, Xia Hesheng, Su Zhi'an, Yang Qingqing, Derek, Xu Che, and the others head to the Main Time Core System and travel through time and space to find vulnerabilities in the Systems and thwart the Time Thieves. Their once ordinary days have turned into the sort of life Xia Hesheng hates, and a conspiracy is slowly unfolding. The secrets of time are about to be revealed...

“Time proves all answers, but it has also drawn uninvited guests: the Time Thieves. They have set their sights on the time stored in the Systems, causing repeated malfunctions. Xia Hesheng, a System research specialist who hates trouble, is forced to ‘volunteer’ to lead the newly formed ‘do-everything’ Seventh District. They also work together to save the Systems and take part in their training! Amid days that are sometimes busy and sometimes quiet, he realizes there is something different about him. Gradually, the curtain is drawn back. Xia Hesheng, Su Zhi'an, Yang Qingqing, Derek, Xu Che, and the others head to the Main Time Core System to find vulnerabilities in the Systems and thwart the Time Thieves. As they draw closer to the truth, the secrets of time are revealed as well...

Behind the whisper, “Without a conviction, how can there be truth?”, the secrets each of the five has kept are slowly coming to light alongside the secrets of time...

[An Exchange]

“Your Excellency, Chief Su, what are you doing if you're not working?”

“Looking for a wife.”

“That respectable young lady?”

“It's a man. I like him.”

“Found him?”

“No.”

“Su Zhi'an, who are you, really?”

“I don't know. But no matter which me it is, I'm absolutely sincere with you.”

“Without a conviction, how can there be truth?”

“Is this really the only way things can end, with us trapped in a deadlock? Even if we might fail, I'll still choose this, because it's the only way. So we have to do it!”

“Will you choose to trust me one more time?”
