"Only later did I understand that when you like someone, you can find your way back for their sake."
Yun Xiang would remember forever that night at 11:24, in the cramped, damp drainage ditch, with the streetlight overhead casting a dim, flickering glow.
The wind had picked up that evening. There were no stars in the sky to show the lost their way.
But Chen Yizhou came.
A clean-cut boy dressed in black appeared at the street corner, as if he were about to blend into the oppressive night.
He stood there expressionless, simply looking deeply at the girl. Then he slowly walked over, placed the baseball cap on his head onto the girl he loved, and straightened it for her.
With his head bowed, he scrubbed at her sins over and over with his black T-shirt.
Yun Xiang lowered her eyes and carefully committed his features to memory.
Her tear-damp hair clung to her pale cheek. Then she heard the girl's choked whisper.
"Chen Yizhou, I can't do this anymore."

From the male lead's perspective:
At eighteen, I didn't think that far ahead. How could I have known that one glance would show me the whole road to the end?
"Yun Xiang, if you could choose again, would you stay for me?"
Note: Bad ending.
