After Cosplaying Yasusada, Kiyomitsu Took Me Back to the Honmaru

April 26 note: I've been busy lately, but I'll keep updating and won't abandon the story, I swear on my life. Updates will just be slow. I'll write more whenever I have time. QAQ My dears, please forgive me. TAT

I cosplayed as Yamatonokami Yasusada on a whim, and inexplicably turned into a sword spirit. Confused, I was picked up by the real Kashuu Kiyomitsu and brought back to a certain citadel. Just like that, I became one of its members.

Me, newly turned into a sword and rather slow on the uptake: (clear, foolish eyes)

Kashuu Kiyomitsu: This Yasusada is broken. He's so dumb, and doesn't know a lot of basic things.

Me: I've lost my memory. Sorry.

Kashuu Kiyomitsu: ...

The guy who loves painting his nails wanted to wake up in the middle of the night and slap himself.

The story alternates between first and third person. The main perspective is that of the cosplayer who transmigrated as Yasusada, though I'll occasionally write from other characters' perspectives.

There's a lot, a lot of introspection. I've written Yasusada as a snarky commentator, and sometimes he even goes a little crazy (?).

There are tons of personal headcanons, so don't overthink it, QAQ. I originally wanted to write a warm, healing slice-of-life story, but it seems to have gone in a strange direction.

The cover shows Yasusada with black eyes.

The pairing is KiyoYasuKiyo. The Okita Group is delicious no matter what, I love it QvQ

My writing is elementary-school level. This is a labor of love, updates whenever I feel like it _(:з"∠)_

I might run off one day (gets hit)

Theme: Let go of the past and embrace the future
