[Marvel + Arknights] The Doctor's Otherworldly Roguelike

[Cover: Weibo @Bai Ye Tao]

New York, 2012. A mysterious man in a hood and a group of reserve operators drop into an alley.

The superheroes don't realize these aren't ordinary visitors from beyond the stars, and so...

Quicksilver slumped to the ground, clutching his wound. He had protected a civilian child but taken several bullets himself. In his final moments, he managed a weak, defiant smile. Was that... his last run?

A reserve operator from Logistics used Originium Arts on him. The bleeding stopped, his flesh healed, and only the bullet holes in his clothes remained.

Quicksilver: (°ー°〃)?

Originium Arts is pretty amazing, right?

Batman has recently been keeping an eye on a new criminal prospect. The man can lift an adult male with one hand and leap onto a building ten meters tall, and can jump from the sixth floor without a scratch. Batman thinks the man is highly suspicious and very dangerous.

Soon, Batman realizes he was wrong. That guy isn't even a "person"!

The force of a punch blows the hat off the reserve Sniper operator, revealing a pair of cat ears.

Catwoman: Don't ask, don't ask! My cat is fine! That isn't my cat!!!

Maybe it was only when Thanos snapped his fingers that the superheroes understood the true meaning of "the survival of civilization."

Both universes were reduced to ashes... and at some point, the Infinity Stones turned into pure-black crystals.

[DC and Marvel crossover + Arknights] One abandoned project after another, each deeper than the last... I gritted my teeth, went crazy, and finally sat down at the keyboard to write it myself...

Writing this for love, and feeding myself with my own fanfic o(￣▽￣)o

A lighthearted and fun story. The outline is nowhere to be found, the writing skills are nonexistent, and it definitely won't be contracted. Includes Arknights worldbuilding, game mechanics, and in-jokes.

This story mentions the reserve operators' codenames and backgrounds, and changes their races. You can think of them as the author's original characters.

The Doctor in this story isn't the player. He's masked, closer to the official setting, and doesn't open cans. He literally can't open cans.

Contains DL.

(Note!!!: The chapters titled Lungmen Dollars have lots of descriptions resembling roguelike nodes, but there are very few after Siren's Call...)

Theme: Fight fate to the very last moment!
