All the Insects Are in Love with Me [Insectoid Narcissus]

"So you mean you want me to make my past self fall for me?"

"Exactly, Host!"

"That sounds way too easy. Don't I know what kind of person I like?"

"That's precisely why you have the highest chance of success, so we chose you for this mission!"

The tall "female insect" stood with his arms crossed, looking the other up and down with disdain. "Your Highness, you're so delicate and precious. Why come to a place like this? Are you trying to get yourself killed, or what?"

The battered "female insect" shifted the man on his back. "Your Highness, you're so delicate and precious. If you don't want me to die for you, don't go getting yourself killed."

A sudden grin spread across the "female insect's" face. "If you have to die at someone else's hands, I'd rather strangle you myself first. There's still time for me to die for you afterward."

The little prince lay across the broad back of the insect, tightening his arms around the "female insect's" neck. It was anyone's guess who would strangle whom first.

More importantly, you're done for.

Uh, no, I'm done for.

Whatever, forget this damn "you and me" business. We can all go down together! This is so boring. I want to see rivers of blood.

Some people fear neither blades nor artillery, yet cannot help losing themselves in these roses and this gentle night.

Top-focused, self-pairing, male-male romance, real gay romance among the insect race.

Delicate, flower-like, sweet-faced but secretly scheming male insect x male-insect-dressed female interstellar pirate leader.

P.S. This is an entirely fictional setting, unrelated to reality. Please don't conflate it with the real world.
