Ever since playing that game, Si Chen has been dreaming very frequently about glaring scarlet things.
He goes to see a psychiatrist, only to discover that the doctor seems even more unwell than he is.
The doctor says, "The creator of both Heaven and Hell in that game is me. They love me so obsessively that it made me sick."
Of course I know that. It's the game's premise.
...But it's just a game, isn't it?
Countless times, Gabriel reaches out a blood-soaked hand through the screen, his head emerging as he gazes greedily and despairingly at the untouchable god of a higher plane. His holy divine power is chaotic and twisted.
The devil, born with soft wings and blindfolded eyes, suffers in silence as he gazes through the screen and licks the god's fingertips. Even with searing heat consuming him, he can hardly bear to leave.
Demons willingly bear chains and practice lifelong restraint, while angels grow horns from their yearning.
They open their jaws wide, eyeing the god hungrily and wondering when they can swallow Them whole.
Yet I know nothing of this, and open the game as usual.
[The main story is told in third person.]
1. Content warning and highlights: This is an indulgence piece, featuring a protagonist who unwittingly flirts around and ruthlessly toys with others, but takes responsibility to the end and tries to treat everyone equally. At heart, he's still a scumbag.
Click to read about the Creators' lives of being abandoned (with their consent) and tormented (with their consent).
2. Major highlight: A story about genuinely training dogs without realizing it. Later on, the protagonist will enter the game and face a spectacular love-rival showdown.
A real showdown, where the frenzied Creators stab him to death several times and fight over his corpse.
The title of Evil God is just a nickname, not a real cosmic-horror big shot. It only refers to the Creators' excellent mental state.
Please be kind. If it's not your thing, just move along. Don't, you know, do that to me (bows repeatedly) (sweating profusely).
